Wheather.

Who knew that I would end up making 3 posts in a row about weather? I guess it's a subject this year. Our weather just seems not able to make up it's mind. It snowed on the first day of May, then we had a warm, summery(is that a word?) spell, then a ton of rain, then hail AND rain, and now it's just dark and gloomy, like it's going to rain, but never does. This is so weird. I have been happy, still, to get anything BUT snow. It was such a long winter here. I believe that Mother Nature chose this year to have a temper tantrum.

P.S. I promise I will soon stop with these all-word posts about weather.

I never thought I'd be saying this...

But it's TOO HOT! I think this frigid cold winter has toughened me up to cold weather, but made me weak in the hot weather! It hasn't even really been that hot-nothing like the 100 degree weather I've been hearing out of some of you! But, I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy to know that we will be able to enjoy the summer with some weather to match! BY THE WAY...we have like 6 days of school left!!!!!! And counting! Whow, that was kind of a flashback from my last post! I'm still SOOOOOOO exited!

SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!

I can finally say that we might have some sign of warm weather up here in the arctic. Maybe, being the key word here. We've had some sunny, warm days this week, and the cold wind that ruined it last week has finally given up. BY THE WAY, we only have 14days of school left! We're all counting! Having summer vacation will be a whole lot better if we can get a tan and not have to wear a coat, so this me begging Mother Nature!!!!Pleeeeeeease!

My crazy weekend...

This weekend has been nuts, but soooo much fun! It started on Friday morning, when I had a dance practice at 9:00. Then at lunch time Tanner and I had to go play the piano at the Senior Citizens center. THEN.. at 7:00 I went to the Lakettte Review where we were doing our dances from dance class. Here are some pics of Friday night!

Then on Saturday ALL day we went to a piano competition (the Northern Cache Valley Preforming Arts Festival(whew that is a mouthful))in Preston. It was at the Preston High School, the same one where Napoleon Dynamite was filmed. A: I, for one, was deeply honored. And 2:They have a weird way of doing things at those competitions. You have a set time when you preform, and the judge judges you, and then you have to wait like an hour to call a number they give you, and then they tell you who won. And THEN...If you place in your category you come back and preform in some honors recital. Tanner and I played the same Concerto that we played to the Senior Citizens Center, shown below...

...and we won 1st place! Our piano teach says she doesn't car if we win and she's not competitive, but she was really exited! Tanner sat down with his little trophy and immediately started playing with it! There is a little, flat plate thing in the center of it, and he started blowing to spin it and trying to chop off the leaves on a fake plant. Sometimes I sware that boy forgot her ever turned 3. Annnyyyywho, the Honors recital went from 7:00 to 10:00! So we didn't get home until like midnight! It was a long day, and a LONG weekend!
