My crazy weekend...

This weekend has been nuts, but soooo much fun! It started on Friday morning, when I had a dance practice at 9:00. Then at lunch time Tanner and I had to go play the piano at the Senior Citizens center. THEN.. at 7:00 I went to the Lakettte Review where we were doing our dances from dance class. Here are some pics of Friday night!

Then on Saturday ALL day we went to a piano competition (the Northern Cache Valley Preforming Arts Festival(whew that is a mouthful))in Preston. It was at the Preston High School, the same one where Napoleon Dynamite was filmed. A: I, for one, was deeply honored. And 2:They have a weird way of doing things at those competitions. You have a set time when you preform, and the judge judges you, and then you have to wait like an hour to call a number they give you, and then they tell you who won. And THEN...If you place in your category you come back and preform in some honors recital. Tanner and I played the same Concerto that we played to the Senior Citizens Center, shown below...

...and we won 1st place! Our piano teach says she doesn't car if we win and she's not competitive, but she was really exited! Tanner sat down with his little trophy and immediately started playing with it! There is a little, flat plate thing in the center of it, and he started blowing to spin it and trying to chop off the leaves on a fake plant. Sometimes I sware that boy forgot her ever turned 3. Annnyyyywho, the Honors recital went from 7:00 to 10:00! So we didn't get home until like midnight! It was a long day, and a LONG weekend!

Spring Break!

Last weekend we had sort of a mini spring break. That meant that we had our normal 3 day weekend, plus the Thursday before and the Monday after off. Not a long time, but it was a break. We made the best of it by running away to Logan and meeting the Georges to do a bunch of fun stuff. Here are some pictures of the zoo!

Here we are! Aren't we so cute!

If any of you know John and Kate Plus Eight, here's the "Aldergater"! It was REALLY hot in the alligator room, but we appreciated them.

It took a lot to get Tanner into that boat, but my dearest mother needed the picture!

Who needs a zoo? You can see birds from your bedroom window!Courtni still thought those birds were pretty cool!

If you can't tell, we're standing against an outline of a gorilla. I don't think there's much of a difference, do you?

Yeah, there was this awesome elephant that sang an snorted at you. I saw holes in its trunk, so I think that in the summer it sprays water.

Some sweet pics of the animals...sorry that a couple are sideways.Ooops.

Here's a sideways pic of Nolan, contemplating the animals. He was such a happy, agreeable baby the whole trip, it as amazing.

We pretty much tried our best to thoroughly embarrass Tanner the whole trip. I think it worked.

I love this picture, so I had to post it. I think I'll put it in my list of pictures on my blog.

This on is cool with Courtni and an alligator in the background. All those missing teeth!

They had this little playground thing with a whole bunch of animal themed toys. Giddy-up Ashli!

Giddy-up Kearis!

Ha Ha!

This picture wasn't easy. Fitting five people into that egg was kind of cramped!:)

Just the Latest

Well, I don't have much new to say, so I guess I'll just catch up on what's new. It's not much, but it's all I got! The other night there was a lunar eclipse. Who knew that to see it Tanner just HAD to get out the telescope and make us sit outside for FOREVER to see it better. I was toasty warm, however, thanks to my big puffy blanket that has recently become my bet friend! I had an interesting morning last Friday. I woke up at 7 a.m. and went to dance at 7:30. For those of you who don't know, I have been taking dance from Kwinnae Phelps at the Rocky Mountain Springers gym this school year. So far, I am loving it!Here's a video of us dancing at the nursing home. It's not our best work, but it's all I have video of!
Micah is getting married to Shannon on June 21st. Tanner is exited for SOMEONE to get married, get off the family plan, and lead him on the way to a cell phone. As much as I wish, Marissa won't be getting married immediately. Well, I can wait! Well, sort of. Well, cell phones aside, it's still really exiting! Okay, so I think this is my break-through post. I've posted my first video, and I've posted a lot of pictures, and wrote a LOT! I think I am done for today!

The new, and the not so new in my life

So I thought I'd post some of the things that make me happy, weather new or old, and a few things that don't make me so happy:). I hope you enjoy a visual account of my life recently!

So we hauled 2 couches home on top of the car yesterday. We went to a furniture store with a closing sale to "just look". We found the perfect couched for our basement, and Tanner, my dad, and Micah loaded it up.

Braces. Thats all I have to say. They hurt kind of, but their better now. They are just in the way now!

Yeah, while trying to get a good picture of my braces, I got a little carried away with the camera. Well, I had fun!

And finally, my awesome ballet barre that I LOVE. L-O-V-E!!!

International Blogger

Kay, really random moment. I just realized that blogger is available in forty different languages, including new languages Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. Yes,I counted. How can they possibly have that many users to need that many languages? I guess I'll never know. By the way, I just changed a whole lot of things on my blog, like the template and an inspiring little quote. Appreciate that, will you? Okay. Random moment over.

A really LONG Christmas Vacation!

Well, the way see it, having a forever and a half vacation from school for Christmas can be good or bad. If you have something to do, it is awesome. But if you sit at home all day watching Barney, it can be a gift to go back to school. (By the way, any other TV show is OK.) Well, I had a very eventful vacation. California, Patrick, Disneyland-I had a blast!
