Randomness...

...is my favorite!! So here is probably my most random post yet. What can I say, my life is random! Ella being adorable and going to town on a Mickey ice-cream bar. How cute is she!!!

Wow, this picture is a little weird..oh well More of Ella being cute...I just love her! Kay very random, but isn't this cool? When we were wandering in the tents at Huntington Beach today with Elizabeth and Michal, and there was this guy who does name signs with fun backgrounds. He had everything from the JoBros to Cars to Cats, and he printed it right there for you. I thought it was really cool because I can never find things with my name, and it has dancers on it, so what more can you ask for?
Yeah, these are my awesome new school shoes that we bought today. I wasn't sure about the laces at first (they are HUGE) but now I am used to them and they are WAY cute on. Told you this was gonna be random!
ANNNNNND, my beautiful nail!!(Any of you seen Nail Salon by Anjelah Johnson?) I've been begging my mom for a while to let my get my nails done, but it is kind of expensive, and she wasn't budging. Well, yesterday Jessica came and got me to "run errands" with her, and instead we went to the nail salon for my birthday!!! She is the greatest! I was pretty stinking happy with them.

California craziness...

This last week has been a blast, but EXHAUSTING!! On Sunday, Lynne, Jeanna Herrgesell, Hantz and Ducky got here to my grandma's house. They stayed here for a week, and we went to Disneyland for 4 days. We were kind of tired. Okay, a LOT tired. But it was fun! Kay, ya'll ready for another long post? :)

Doesn't this picture look like it should be on a postcard? Jeanna took this with her sunglass lens in front of the camera.
This is all of us except for Lynne inside a phone booth. What can you do, really? :)
Cooking corn at the beach...

The whole bunch of us, minus Jeanna who was photo documenting. My mom being the planner..:) The boys were very whiny about pictures, but here is one of the few pretty good ones. Jeanna and Hantz at Mickey's house. Ducky was being a bum and wouldn't go for a picture. Oh well. Long story, but Jeanna was trying to look like Mickey. She made us laugh hysterically for most of the week. My Ella!!! We waited for the fireworks for like 3 hours, then they announced that the might be cancelled. The time they were supposed to happen came and went, and people started to give up and leave. But, what do you know, half an hour late, they still did the fireworks! Crisis averted, people. One more semi-good picture of the three of them.
Ohhhhhh, my Disneyland!!! This is the view from the top of the parking structure, which I think is pretty awesome.

HOORAY FOR NEW YORK!!!!!

Well, I’ve given up my day-to-day posts of our trip. I have a life, and I need to blog about that too! So, here are some of my favorite pictures of NY. There are just too many to post all of them. Sorry, this post has to be long, but please don’t let that keep you from commenting! Enjoy!
We got a little wet on the ferry. And almost everywhere else! The days we were in New York it rained almost constantly, but our Washington D.C. days were HOT as all get out.

This is our family. We adopted Ashli, you know.
The view from the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Eilis Island. We didn't get off at the Statue of Liberty, but we took pictures from the ferry. Eilis Island was amazing. I didn't think it was going to be that big of a deal, but it was WAY worth seeing.
You know you're in China Town when the Verizon Wireless ads are in Chinese!
Gotta have a picture of the hot dog stand, right?
Mary Poppins was one of the two Broadway plays we saw. Even though we saw it from the second row and it was a little neck tiring, it was awesome. If you ever get a chance to see a play like this, take it.
The group that went on the 3rd day in New York:Me, Ashli, Tanner, my mom, Marilyn's friend Eileen, and Official Tour Guide Marilyn.
One of my have-to's in New York. Who can leave that place feeling complete without sitting on a bench in Central Park? I mean really? :)
Another one of my have-to's was to ride on a subway. Whew, did I get that one! We rode a ton of subways, and I was happy. On our last day there, Tanner decided that one of his dreams was to get a picture like this, with the subway blurry behind him and him in focus. Weird kid.
When I heard everyone talking about "The Top of The Rock" I was VERY confused. That it how sheltered I am. I thought maybe we were going to a shore to stand on the top of a rock? I felt dumb when I found out it was the top of the Rockefeller Center. It was awesome, after I found out what it was!

Sniffle...sniffle...:)

Day 2 - New Jersy Adventures

On Sunday (the day after our flight) we went to the ward that Marilyn used to live in. After that, we went on a tour of some of the highlights of New Jersy i.e. Delaware river, Washington crossing, and Princeton. I don't have all of the pics of the places, but it's a good taste of them. Enjoy, and sorry this post is so long. That's just something I can't controll! :)
I may need to live in New Jersy at some point in my life. It is SOOOOO green there, and I L-O-V-E-D it!

I love pretty close ups of flowers!

The Delaware river
This is pretty much the smallest bridge you will ever see in your life. You have to pull your mirrors in so they won't hit a car passing on the opposite direction.
This is were I will life in my next life. I am putting a preorder on it. It is up in the woods, beautiful, peaceful, and one of the most gorgeous houses I have ever seen.
Me and Ashli
Marilyn, with friend, host, and tour guide, Mary Jane.

Havin' A Great Time!!!

Well, we're still here on the East coast, and loving every minute of it. We have been packing a TON of stuff into a short time, and we're all EXHASTED. But it's that happy, good kind of exhasted, where it has come from having a good time. And we'll be coming home on Sunday to S-L-E-E-P. And then go to California in like 4 days. *Sigh* It all has been and will be WAY fun though. I will finally have time to post pictures soon!
