Beach Bums

On Friday we all went to San Clemente with Brady and Jessica, with Jessica's family and some friends. We jumped waves, played in the sand, cooked hot dogs and corn, and watched some awesome fireworks of of the pier. It was pretty much awesome!



Patrick was so funny in the water. He'd stand right where the waves could come up and catch his toes, then laugh hysterically when they touched him. Me and Tanner had to stand next to him because soon the waves got so big we had to pick him up! When Amy came down to tell him it was time for dinner, he said, "I catch one more wave, Mom. Just one more!"


Ella still thinks it's a good idea to eat sand. You have to watch her close to stop her!



This is in a parking space. In a parking lot. There were a ton of people leaving after the fireworks at the beach, we had a lot of junk, and our car was parked way up a huge hill. So we sent Sean up the hill to the car, and we sat in a parking space, and waited. Patrick laid down on my lap, (this is like 11:00, way past his bedtime) and fell asleep. Sean ended up being gone like an hour and a half, so he got a good sleep, then climbed into his car seat and slept the whole way home! Over all, a very good day!
