Happy.

There's nothing like starting a new dance class....again. :) But I have hope for this one, and so excited about it! A lady in Soda has been doing this for 20+ years. I'm learning jazz and ballet and clogging, which it turns out is very similar to tap. :) She's really good, and cheep too, so what more can you ask for? Can't wait to get down and do some actual dancing again, and for now I'm just happy!
Ummm, 4th grade, I think?
6th grade

My cool edit I made! It's my new thing...

I love it when.....

...I'm so busy doing stuff I COULD post about that I don't have time to post. :) It is my favorite. We have been very busy, going to Nauvoo, moving Chad and Amy T to Rhode Island, on a roughly 24 hour car ride. Very fun. :) Anyway....here are some pictures from Nauvoo first.
A very nice lady offered to take our picture together....and my mother actually let her do it! :)
Emily's highlight of the trip- a pink gumball.
Nauvoo temple

Wagon ride/tour
Annie's highlight- she found a BABY in he family living center. She loves babies and was very proud of her find.

HEY....we sat next to each other for that long? :)
Gorgeous.
Liberty jail was probably the best of all. Incredible.

"He is not graduating! He is moving from the 4th grade to the 5th grade!!!"

Well said. Actually, I moved from the 8th grade to the 9th grade. They make a really big deal about it when you graduate middle school, when really you are just relieved to be done with it. We did all cry a little about retiring teachers, but that was it. Any of you who have had Mr. C as a teacher, let me tell you, the 8th graders made him a giant poster of Griselda. It was awesome. And since I know Jessica is the only one reading this who wouldn't know.....:) Anyway, I don't have pictures yet, because my mom didn't come. :)

Seattle.. finally...

It's taken me a while to get around to this...but that's life. These are of our day out in Seattle over spring break. I really wish the blogger upload would put the pictures in how you upload them, instead of how they do it. It makes no sense to me. So, these pictures are in no particular order.
Classic picture...
Floating houses. Who knew?

THE SPACE NEEDLE!!!
A really nasty fish market. Where they throw fish.
Seriously love these kids. A lot of teenagers say they don't like kids....let me tell you. I'M NOT ONE OF THEM. :) All we needed on this trip was Emily, Annie, and Brighton, and I would have been in total heaven.

Spring Break Day 1- Portland

We tried to do our part for the cause...I think we succeeded.
PortlandI love this little girl...I would take her home with me!
Carter and his new favorite-Tanner
A doughnut shop/wedding chapel. Made you feel like you are on drugs.
And, no surprise, they make some really strange doughnuts. But mostly very yummy.
We visited a very cool mansion built by a guy to moved to Oregon (something Pittock, I think) and was apparently very successful. Ella called it "The Castle" but then, she was asleep for most of it. :)
This is Carter's favored position. It doesn't look comfortable, but he seemed to like it.
All of us FREEZING outside!
